Full & Final Settlement Calculator
When an employee leaves, their full and final settlement (F&F) brings together several moving parts: unpaid salary, leave encashment for accumulated leave, gratuity where the five-year rule is met, and any notice-period recovery, all net of statutory deductions like PF and TDS. This calculator gives you the net figure instantly; the full report itemises each component so the settlement is accurate and dispute-proof.
What goes into a full & final settlement
A correct F&F typically includes pending salary up to the last working day, encashment of unused earned leave, statutory bonus due, and gratuity if eligible, minus recoveries such as notice shortfall, advances or loans. Final PF settlement and TDS on the taxable portions are handled separately and must reconcile.
How long do employers have to settle?
Best practice, and increasingly the expectation under the new Labour Codes, is to clear the full and final settlement within a defined window of the last working day. Delays and errors in F&F are one of the most common triggers of employee disputes and labour-office complaints.
Frequently asked questions

Is gratuity always part of F&F?
Only when the employee has completed the qualifying continuous service (generally five years); otherwise it is not payable.
Can notice-period shortfall be recovered from F&F?
Yes, where the employment contract provides for it, the notice shortfall can be recovered from the settlement.
